Situations Getting Worse
No Resolution
We all know Conflict is unpleasant. Everyone gets triggered, emotions run wild, whether the disagreement is between two people, a team or cross functional teams working together. You can find yourself in a quagmire of hurt feelings, old wounds, feeling stopped and blocked while trying to move forward. Resigning yourself that this situation cannot be resolved.
Questions Arise?
How did we reach this point?
How did our company, personnel or Mgt. let it get this bad?
Why am I the one who has to resolve this?
“Because people aren’t perfect, and our relationships have a myriad of different styles, approaches and ways of relating”.
That is why we ALL need to learn how to resolve Conflicts.
Create a Positive Outlook –
“Learning how to resolve conflicts will empower me and others in my life.”
Focus on Building the Relationship/Trust.
Clear the Air – Let the Past Go.
Get Current. Stay Current.
Align your Commitments with each other.
Establish a Roadmap going forward.
I have been engaged in a very committed way in the topic of TRUST for many years.
LEANING IN TAKES:
Commitment to Learn…
Practice Practice Practice like you would doing a bicep curl.…
Not Giving Up…
“You can’t win an argument. You can’t because if you lose it, you lose it; and if you win it, you lose it!”
