SMS Alerts

Graystone Leadership uses SMS messaging to deliver automation-generated system and operational alerts. These messages are transactional, not marketing, and are sent only to individuals who have explicitly opted in.

What messages are sent

SMS alerts may include:

  • Power loss or restoration notices

  • Internet or network service outages

  • UPS or battery backup warnings

  • Facility, system, or automation status alerts

Sample messages:

  • [Graystone] Power lost. Network systems are running on battery backup.

  • [Graystone] Battery remaining: 5 minutes. Internet service may go offline if power is not restored.

  • [Graystone] Power restored. Systems are back on utility power.

  • [Graystone] Internet connection down. Investigation in progress.

How you opt in

You receive SMS alerts only if you explicitly request them. Opt-in occurs when:

  • You provide your phone number and request alerts, or

  • An administrator adds your number at your request for operational notifications

Message frequency

Message frequency depends on system events. During outages, multiple messages may be sent as conditions change.

Opt out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS alerts.

Reply START to resume messages.

Phone numbers are used solely for delivering operational alerts. Graystone Leadership does not sell or share phone numbers for marketing purposes.
